Andy “Drew” Thompson Obituary
Louis Andrew “Andy” Thompson, 64 of Cleveland, TN passed away Sunday, December 31st, 2023.
Andy was born in Knoxville, TN, attended school in Chattanooga, then studied carpentry in college. He was a dedicated member of Eastside Church of Christ in Cleveland, TN. Andy proudly owned and operated his contracting company, Thompson Construction Co., and loved his work. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his buddies and listening to rock n’ roll. Andy was a people person and enjoyed helping others.
Andy was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Thompson; parents, Charles Monroe Thompson, Jr. and Mary Alice Andreini; brother, Chuck Thompson; and sister, Robbyn Thompson.
Survivors include his children, Angel (Scott) Claus, Justin (Joy) Thompson and Lashae Renee Thompson; grandchildren: Ethan Collins, Jackson Thompson, Ariana and Liam; sister, Melodie Thompson; best friends: Randy Robinson, Tony Davis, and Alvin Lindsey; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 5th, 2024 from 4-8pm and Saturday from 10am until the funeral hour at 11am in the Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cleveland with Reverend Kyle Gilpin officiating. (3000 Ralph Buckner Blvd. NE Cleveland, TN 37311.)
