Andy Daniel Hinojos, 16, of San Angelo passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022.
Prayer service will be at 6:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral services being at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Andy was born on March 22, 2005 in San Angelo to his parents, Yolanda Esparza and Julian Hinojos, Sr. He was a junior at Central High School at the time of his death. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and making people laugh. Andy was friendly, caring, goofy and a lady's man.
Survivors include his mother, Yolanda Esparza of San Angelo; his father, Julian Hinojos, Sr. of San Angelo; three brothers, Julian Hinojos, Jr. and wife Karina, Justyn Hinojos and wife Brenna, and Jaycob Hinojos, all of San Angelo; three sisters, Annabelle Esparza of San Angelo, Julie Hinojos of San Antonio, and Mary Hinojos of Hobbs, New Mexico; his four nieces and nephews, Nevaeh, Mason, Avalynn, and Kamila; and seven uncles, Robert Rios and wife Jennifer, Chris Esparza and wife Erika, and Daniel Esparza, all of San Angelo, Jimmy Hinojos and wife Bernice, Harvey Hinojos and wife Mary, and Leon Hinojos, all of Hobbs, New Mexico, Leonard Hinojos and wife Rosemary of San Antonio; an aunt, Lupe Lazoya of Hobbs, New Mexico.
Pallbearers will be, Julian Hinojos, Justyn Hinojos, Jaycob Hinojos, A. J. Ramirez, Marco Martinez, E. J. Jackson, C. J. Juarez, Anthony "Shorty" Castillo. Honorary pallbearers will be, Sadie Manley and Mason Hall.
The family would also like to give a special thanks to Marsha Lopez, who was like a second mom to Andy; Dr. Michael K. Boyd, Dr. Emmette Flynn, and all the ICU staff at Shannon Medical Center for giving Andy the best care; and to everyone who sent continuous prayers.
