Mr. Alton Andrew "Andy" Maddox age 47 of Albertville (Asbury Community) passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Funeral services are set for 11am Monday, February 3, 2025 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pm Sunday at the funeral home. W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Andy Grew up in the Geraldine/Fyffe community and attended Geraldine High School. He loved the Lord and his family more than anything. He was a hard worker his entire life and provided for his family greatly. He was employed by Muller Company for 24 years. He was part of the 1996 Geraldine graduating class and had a passion for football, playing middle linebacker for the Geraldine Bulldogs. He was an avid Alabama fan. Andy was full of lifeand never met a stranger, if you ever met him you loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Katrina Maddox; sons, River Maddox and Kyle Maddox; mother Debra Maddox (Darrell) Neil; sisters, Denise (Kenny) Otinger, Angie (Terry) Graves, and Amy Maddox; mother-in-law, Sandra Cash; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Maddox; father-in-law, Jimmy Cash, niece, Adranna Buttrum; and nephew, Jordan Friar.
