A celebration of life for lifelong Eads, Colorado resident, Andrew Douglas McCracken, affectionately known to his family and friends as Andy, will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Kiowa County Community Building at the Kiowa County Fairgrounds in Eads, Colorado with Pastor Lane Gooden and Debbie Gooden co-officiating. Interment will follow at the Pioneer Cemetery in Eads, Colorado.
Visitation for Andy will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 3:00PM until 6:00PM at the Praise Community Church in Eads, Colorado.
Andy was born on August 17, 1962 at Eads, Colorado to Douglas and Lois (Reinert) McCracken and passed away on August 11, 2024 at his home in Eads, Colorado at the age of 61 with his family by his side.
He is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law James Talley and brother Darrell Ray McCracken.
Andy is survived by his wife Kathy McCracken of the family home in Eads, CO, children A.J. (Ciara) McCracken of Eads, CO, Tyler (Kelsey Harper) McCracken of Pueblo West, CO and Shealynn (Rustin) Robins of Lake Jackson, TX, grandchildren Braydyn, James, Cally, Darsey, Brantley, Kielan, Kenna, Lexi, Nora, Taylor, Harper and Paisyn. He is also survived by his sister Nancy Walker of Eads, CO, mother-in-law Frances Talley of Canon City, CO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Andrew McCracken Memorial Fund in care of any GN Bank location.
