Andy, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was a native of Albany, and longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. Andy proudly served his country in The United States Marines. Outdoors was his passion; hunting squirrel and deer, fishing, and going trapshooting. He and Rosa especially loved taking the grandchildren on vacations, including camping trips making wonderful memories with them. Andy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Andy is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Rosa Lezu Pffiffner; sons, David Pfiffner, and Raymond Pfiffner; grandchildren, Jason Pfiffner, Lacey Pfiffner, Shaun Pfiffner, Brian Pfiffner, and Robert Pfiffner; great-grandchildren, Landen Lucas, Braighley Pfiffner, and Alexis Hunt; sister, Elizabeth 'Betty Ann' Clements; brother, Peter Pfiffner; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Andy is preceded in death by his son Gary Michael Pfiffner; patents, Peter and Elizabeth Pfiffner; and brother, Steve Pfiffner.
Family would like to give a special thank you of appreciation to everyone with Heart of Hospice, for the wonderful care and attention they gave to Andy.

I will always remember Uncle Andy's dedication to physical fitness. In my younger days whenever I would see him he always had on his running shoes. May God bless Aunt Rosa and the rest of the family at this difficult time.
