Ruth Marie Morrow Tubbs

Ruth, age 78, joined her husband in Heaven on Friday, May 30, 2025. She was a resident of Wake Village, TX. A dedicated mother to three children, Ruth spent her life nurturing her family with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She worked for many years as a manager at Toys "R" Us and Ellis Pottery in Texarkana, where her strong work ethic and warm personality left a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike. However if you asked her she would say her favorite job was being a mother. Ruth had a passion for the simple joys in life. She found creativity in ceramics, and her garden was her sanctuary. Ruth loved going for long walks, fishing at any time, and popping a fresh bowl of popcorn to enjoy during cozy evenings with family. Above all, Ruth cherished the time spent with her loved ones, whether it was a shopping trip, a fishing day, or a day spent with her grandbabies. Her energetic spirit and bright smile will be forever missed by all who knew her.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Robin Denise Tubbs Blackmer (Matthew); sons, Kirk Landry Tubbs (Odile), Jason Kendal Tubbs (Lacy); brother, Ronald Edward Morrow (Cathleen); grandchildren, Sydney Anderson, Jake Anderson, Aubreigh-Ana Tubbs, Landry Tubbs, Holly Tubbs, Randi Tubbs; and great-grandchild, Andie Chatman.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Floyd Tubbs; and parents, Loren Edward Morrow and Sarah Mollie Morrow.
Services will be held privately by the family.
