Our precious boy slipped from our arms into the arms of Jesus, he was only seven months old.
Angel’s early entrance into heaven matched his early arrival on earth. He and his twin sister were born at a mere 23 weeks old. As Jesus sat at the right hand of his Father’s throne he interceded for Angel. He brought every whispered prayer and tear shed for Angel to his Father, as he sympathized with us all in our weakness while we waited for God’s sovereign hand to heal Angel. On June 10, 2023, all of our prayers were answered and Angel took his first breath in heaven all on his own, without the help of a ventilator. He is healed, thank you Jesus!
Angel endured more in his seven months here than most will in 70 years. Though his time here was short, his impact was great. His life and story continue to pierce the hearts of countless souls. Though, at times, we have not understood why God picked heaven instead of here to heal Angel, we are reminded through scripture that he asks for us to trust him, and to lean not to our understanding, as our ways are not God’s ways. So, as we grieve the loss of Angel, we will also trust in God’s promises, plans, and purposes even when it hurts.
While Angel is basking in the glory of God, he left his mom and dad, two sisters, and three brothers to tell everyone the good news of how they can join him in heaven one day. Scripture teaches us in John 3:16 “For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus, Angel, and the Lindesmith family pray that every soul reading this would place their faith alone in Christ alone! Simply believe.
Until we meet again our sweet boy enjoy eternity and tell Gi-Gi and grandpa hello from us all!
