In Loving Memory of Angel Lomeli
Angel Lomeli, of Odessa, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, at Encompass Health in Midland, Texas. He was born April 13, 1965, in El Paso, Texas, to Gabino and Maria Guadalupe (Aragon) Lomeli. He married the love of his life, Randa Leann (Jones), on October 19, 2024, in Odessa.
Angel lived up to his name in every sense - a man whose presence brought light, laughter, and love to everyone who knew him. A true patriot, he was known as the most patriotic non-military man you'd ever meet and a proud Dallas Cowboys fan who wore his loyalty proudly every Sunday.
A dedicated and passionate embalmer, Angel approached his work with deep respect and care, always striving to serve families with the highest level of excellence. His resourcefulness was unmatched - if Angel didn't have the answer, he knew someone who did. He was a teacher at heart, always eager to share his knowledge and uplift others in their own journeys.
Angel's kindness had no limits. He was loving without conditions, generous without hesitation, and humorous in every moment. He made friends wherever he went, his laughter filling rooms and his compassion leaving lasting impressions. His heart for others and his willingness to give defined his life and legacy.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Randa Leann Lomeli; his stepchildren, Cassandra Hill (Chris), Austin Jones (Jamie), Roy Ledesma Jr., and Xavian Jackman; his siblings, Gabino Lomeli Jr., Joe Lomeli, Bobby Lomeli, Tony Lomeli, Jesse Lomeli, and Guadalupe Lomeli; his beloved "fur babies," Lil Marissa and Lil Soxx; and his cherished stepgrandchildren, Maison Prindle, Brylee Jones, Koltyn Jones, and Addison Jones.
Angel will be remembered for his heart of gold, his unwavering dedication, and his endless humor. Though he is gone from this world, his love and legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
