Angela Armstrong Obituary

Angela worked as a chicken house owner by profession; however, she also had previously been employed as a bus driver for Smithville Schools for many years. She was a member of the Octavia Baptist Church and loved going fishing and spending time with her grandkids. Angela was also a well-known animal lover and was particularly fond of cats and frogs. Ms. Angela Lacreta Armstrong is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Walker; son, Charlie Umpstead; as well as by her parents, John Marvin and Hazel (Anderson) Webb. She is survived by her son, Tony Smith and wife Janice; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Opal Wilson and Mark Wilson; as well as by a host of cousins, other family and friends too numerous to mention.
Cremation Services are entrusted to Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
