Angela Josephine Bovell

Angela Bovell, 87, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, at Chester County Hospital. Born on July 15, 1938, to Rose (Tressitte) and Elvin Salve, Angela spent her early years in Minersville, Pennsylvania, before moving to Berwyn, where she graduated from Conestoga High School.

Angela began her banking career in Wayne, Pennsylvania, where she met the love of her life, Arthur Bovell. The two married and made their home in Bridgeport before eventually settling in King of Prussia. Together, they raised one daughter, Lisa Horrocks (Jody), who was Angela's pride and joy.
She was a devoted grandmother to her two granddaughters, Amanda Brown (Brandon) and Ashley Hankin (James Barretta), and she treasured every moment spent with her great-grandson, Beau Brown.
Angela was a longtime member of Mother of Divine Providence Church, where her faith remained a central part of her life. In their earlier years, she and Arthur enjoyed bowling leagues and dining out together, creating many cherished memories.
A lover of travel, Angela especially enjoyed cruising throughout the Caribbean. White sandy beaches, steel drum music, sunshine, and a good piña colada were among her greatest delights. At home, she never passed up a glass of white Zinfandel and loved any opportunity to be on the go.
Angela was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bovell; her brother, Pat Salve; and her parents, Rose and Elvin Salve.
A private graveside service for immediate family will be held in the near future.
Angela will be remembered for her warmth, joyful spirit, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
