Angela Nichole "Nicki" Davenport, 41, of Cleveland, TN, won her battle against cancer on Thursday, August 14th surrounded by those who loved her the most. She fought this six-year battle with such grace and beauty never complaining and always saying that everything would be okay.
Born on July 18th, 1984, Nicki was a loving and caring partner, an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and a faithful friend to everyone that knew her. Waiting to greet her in Heaven was her grandmother Billie Cheatham, grandfather Sammy Davenport, great grandparents Fred and Irene Garren and Maudie and Carl Lowe, and father-in-law John Godfrey.
She is survived by her partner, Micheal Graham, Her precious children, Makenna, Owen and Mason Graham. Take notice of the first initial of her children's names. Nicki wanted them to spell MOM so that they would always know she was with them. Her parents, Robert and Tina Davenport, sister Andrea (Nick Liner) Davenport, her first love, her nephew Carter (Ashton Cross) Davenport. Her grandmother Clara Davenport, grandfather Bill Cheatham, special aunt and uncle Samantha and Daniel Tallent, mother- in-law Judy Godfrey, and a host of other family members, and her best friend Jennifer Overly, and forever faithful friend Bruce Anderson.
Nicki was an employee of Eaton of Cleveland for which she called her second home and family. Left to cherish her memory there is what Nicki called "her Eaton girls", who in turn were more than coworkers, they are family, Lori Burmeister, Christina Hagler, Stacey Elrod, Jessyka Finnell, Racynda Ward and Amy Lee. Much love, and appreciation goes out to the entire Eaton, Cleveland, TN plant for their continued love and support that they have shown to Nicki and her family. Their kindness and prayers will always be appreciated.
If Nicki were here, she would say to all of us "I have fought the good fight, I have finished my race, my body is healed, and I am okay" and sharing that huge smile with everyone as she told you all that she loved your face!
