Angela Noblin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Vander Plaat Memorial Home on Sep. 17, 2024.
Angela "Angie" (nee Calabrese), loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, at age 94, after a brief illness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Angie touched many lives with her warmth and kindness and concern for others.
Born on May 30, 1930, in Newark, NJ, to Joseph and Grace Calabrese, Angie grew up in a multi-generational household. She graduated with honors as valedictorian from East Side High School in Newark. On September 19, 1954, she married Vernon Noblin from Virginia, and together they built a loving life in Paramus, NJ, raising three children.
Angie was a devoted wife and mother who cherished time with her family, friends, and neighbors. An active member of the Church of the Annunciation in Paramus, she participated in Sunday Masses, prayer groups, retreats, and other church activities. In her free time, Angie enjoyed swimming at the Paramus Pool and Bergen Community College and was involved in various senior social groups.
In 2018, Angie moved to BrightView Independent Senior Living in Paramus, where she spent her final six years. She embraced new friendships, enjoyed trips, Tai Chi classes, musical performances, and shared many dinners with friends, discussing their lives and families.
Angie was the beloved wife of the late Vernon Noblin, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years. She is survived by her children: Keith Noblin and his wife Patricia of Aiken, SC, Pam Noblin of West Caldwell, and Brenda Noblin and her boyfriend Edward Wexler of Mahwah. She was the treasured grandmother of Jenna Chavez and her husband Daniel and Jillian Noblin and her fiancé Juan Castillo. Angie is also survived by her dear siblings, Robert Calabrese and his wife Janice, and Dolores Diaz. She was predeceased by her sister Florence Derrig and brothers-in-law Joseph Derrig and Joseph Diaz. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
A funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Annunciation on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 9:30 am, followed by entombment at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Washington Township. A repast will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Church of the Annunciation in Paramus, NJ.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Angie´s passing. She was very much involved with Annunciation Church and was a dedicated mother and wife. She was always friendly we are going to miss her because she was so much a constant in the community.
Even though we had not seen her the last few years, we shared so many memories and experiences with Angie and she will be sorely missed.
Our heartfelt condolences to the Noblin and Calabrese families.
