Angela Diane Nolasco-Wright, age 49, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. The Wright Family is honoring her wishes for cremation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt Carmel Methodist Church, Jackson, Tennessee 38305 with a reception to follow. Angela was born in Waco, TX on May 30, 1975. She graduated from Mesquite High School and attained an Associate Degree from the University of Texas Dallas. She came to Tennessee in 2017 as a city girl. Angela soon became an “accidental” country girl, as she would call herself. She enjoyed exploring the family farm looking for deer, turkeys & doves. She enjoyed watching birds come to the feeders, & seeing her window garden producing tomatoes. Her love language was food & was a great cook who frequently shared her famous macaroni & cheese with family & friends. Angela loved sunflowers & adored the family beagle, Cocobean, who was always by her side. Angela is survived by her husband of 7 years: Joseph William Wright Jr (Will); two sons: Brandon Nolasco and Corey Nolasco; father: Hugh David Jones III; stepmother: Theresa Jones; mother: Linda Sue Smith Jones; stepdaughters: Melissa Nolasco and Kelsey Nolasco; brother: David Jones; step-sister: Lindsey Goff; father & mother-in-law, Joe and Sandy Wright; sister-in-law, Catherine Wright; and her best friend, Monique Hernandez McNeely. She leaves a legacy of three step-grandchildren: Libby, Amari and Jackson. The Wright Family wishes to thank the Madison County Ambulance Services and Fire Department EMT’s for their kind and professional help through many calls; and the 7th floor Coronary ICU Staff at Jackson Madison County Memorial Hospital for their compassionate and attentive care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to the WRAP Domestic Abuse Center in Jackson, TN or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
