Angela Nugent, born on December 9, 1983, in Dublin Ga. to the parents of Tony and Lillie Nugent, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by some of her family on May 31, 2025. Visitation will occur Friday, June 6th, 2025, 1:00 pm 2:00 pm at Gray Memorial Chapel and Crematory 4378 Gray Highway Gray, Georgia 31032 with a service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Cedar Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Greg Thompson will officiate.
She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, quick wit, genuine fun and generous spirit. She was quick with a joke or a clever comeback. She was strong-willed and determined. She could do anything she set her mind to and liked to take charge of every situation. She was a good listener and gave great advice. She knew how to lighten a room with her charisma and yet would meet life's challenges with courage and tenacity. Her passion for helping others and her genuine nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. That passion rolled over into the kitchen and her love of cooking which meant she always had an extra plate ready for anyone that was hungry. She was skilled at interior design and organization. Angela's legacy will be remembered by those who loved her most as a helping and caring partner, mother, stepmother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Spending time with her children, grandchildren, and siblings brought her immense joy. She was someone who never met a stranger, kind, compassionate. She had unshakable confidence, a deep love for life, and a playful spirit that brought joy to everyone around her. She had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and spent countless happy days fishing, floating down the river or going to the beach alongside her family. To know Angela was to love her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew.
In addition to her parents, Angela's memory will forever be cherished by those who she survived by. Her life partner of over 20 years, Travis Williams; her children Nathen Haywood, Dakota Williams, and Anna Williams; her stepchildren Tray Williams and Sheeka Hart; Siblings: Jessica Ivey (Joel), David Paul(Misty), AJ Nugent(Becky), Tyler Paul, and Amber Nugent; her grandparents Cheryl and Randy Scofield; her best friend: Sarah Wright; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many family and friends left to cherish her beautiful legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that monetary donations be made directly to the funeral home, or to the family to help with the cost of her memorial services.
Gray Memorial Chapel is honored to be entrusted with the care of the Nugent family. Condolences and fond memories may be shared at graymemorialchapel.com.
