Angela Thomas Obituary
Angela R.S. Thomas, 54, of West Branch, Iowa, died Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Crestview Specialty Care, West Branch, Iowa.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.
Angela was born August 28, 1969, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Constance McDermott and David Semotan.
Angela dedicated her life to education, earning two Master's Degrees and working as a librarian at the University of Illinois.
She is survived by her son, William Atticus “Liam” Thomas of Urbana, Illinois; mother, Connie Schimmel of West Branch, Iowa; her father and step-mother, David and Rose Semotan of Everton, Missouri; and sisters, Julie Madden of Oxford, Iowa, and Betsy McVay of Norwalk, Iowa.
