Angelan Kay (Faubion) Kirbey, 71, of El Dorado Springs, Mo., passed away at Moorefew Nursing Home in Nevada, MO on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Angelan was born February 29, 1952, in Lamar MO, she was the daughter of Roy and Bethal Faubian. She attended Lamar Kindergarten and Sheldon Grade School, Junior and High School.
Angelan married Charles Kirbey on July 30, 1971. They were married for forty-eight years, and to this union, two children were born, Troy LaDon and Julie KaLyne.
Angelan worked at the shoe factory in El Dorado Springs until its closing, she worked at Key's in Nevada until its closing, and she worked in healthcare until retiring. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She adored her two grandchildren, Jodie and Brock. She loves taking care of people and baking.
Preceding her in death were her spouse, Charles Kirbey; her parents, Roy and Bethal Faubion; one sister, Brenda Faubion; and three brothers: Gary, Charles, and Roy (Donnie) Faubion.
Survivors include her two children, Troy Kirbey and his wife Josie of El Dorado Springs, MO and Julie Peterson and her husband Jake, of Carthage, MO; two grandchildren, Jodie Kirbey of El Dorado Springs, MO and Brock Kirbey and his girlfriend Katlin of Pittsburg, KS; her brother, Rex Faubion and his wife Judy of Puyallup, WA; her sister, Jana Davis of Arma, KS; her brother-in-law, James Kirby and wife Ruby of Jerico Springs, MO; her brother-in-law, Ronald Kirby of Stockton, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. Brent Bland was the minister. Her final resting place is Greenfield Cemetery in Jerico Springs.
