Flora Beatrice (Heath) McKinney of Schell City, Missouri left this Earth and went to her Heavenly home on October 4, 2025, at 8:11 AM at the age of 91. She was born to Clay and Pernia (McKinley) Heath on Monday, April 9, 1934, in Schell City, MO.

Flora Bea and her husband, Robert "Hugh" McKinney were high school sweethearts at Schell City High School. They were married on Tuesday, August 29, 1950. Together they raised five sons-Randy, Robby, Buddy, Billy, and Donny. They spent 38 wonderful years together before Hugh's passing in 1988. Flora Bea was later married to Dale Allison from 1990-2016.

Flora Bea and Hugh moved to the farm in Schell City where they lived throughout their lives. She was a loving and nurturing mother and spent her life caring for her children and home. She survived being a mother to five rowdy boys and was then later blessed with seven granddaughters and finally one grandson. She enjoyed cooking and made the very best homemade bread and rolls. She enjoyed teaching her grandchildren her love of baking, and they fondly remember making many a pan of bread and hot rolls with her. She loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. In her younger years, she loved to hunt and often killed the biggest buck in the area that several of her neighbors were also chasing. She loved to camp and was the one to call when you needed a campfire built. She was a fun loving person who always loved to laugh. She had a great sense of humor and if you were ever on the receiving end of one of her jokes, count yourself blessed. She loved her Schell City community and was always very active in community functions. She dearly loved her family and friends and was a wonderful grandmother to all who knew her.

Flora Bea was a lifelong saved member of the Schell City First Baptist Church and has always been one to lend a caring and helping hand to all in need. She had a light about her that was felt and seen by all who knew her. She served the Lord throughout her life and was an inspiration to all to keep the Lord first in their lives. Flora Bea has had great sorrows and great joys, but always kept a positive outlook and taught all she knew to love life.

Flora Bea is now reunited with many loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Pernia Heath; her sisters, Catherin Heath and Rachel Lee Applegate Owen; brothers, Holbert and James Heath; her oldest son, Randy; and her beloved husband, Hugh. She is survived by her sons: Rob McKinney of Schell City, MO, Buddy (Betty) McKinney of Salem, MO, Bill (Rhonda) McKinney of Harwood, MO, and Donny McKinney (Dean McDowell) of Springfield, MO; along with 8 grandchildren: Michelle (Doug) Sanderson, Erin Lee, Stacy (Chad) Ijams, Miranda (Brad) Dixon, Rebecca (Aaron) Law, Marci (Drew) Boone, Brooke (Ethan) McPeak, and Blake (Chandler) McKinney; 26 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; other relatives; and many dear friends and neighbors.

Flora Bea will be remembered for her generous heart, infectious humor, and her joyful love of life. She will be sincerely missed by her family and the entire Schell City community.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Schell City First Baptist Church for community outreach.
