Angelia L ynette Anderson was born June 26, 1974, to Mary and Osee Anderson, Sr., in Monroe, Louisiana. She was affectionately called "Angie" to friends and family but called "MiMi" to her grandbabies. Angelia gained her heavenly wings on March 6, 2024.
Angelia was baptized at an early age by the late Reverend Rosevelt Everfield of Union Hill Baptist Church, where she took the Lord as her Christ and Savior. She attended Little Flower in her early age and later graduated from Ouachita High School. Angelia moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas, in 2013, accepting a job with Accent Marketing. She later took on a position working for Advanced Interventional Pain Management, then to a home base job with Ensemble Health Partners. In her time in Arkansas, she gained many, many friends.
Everyone loved Angelia for her heart. She was known to make a cloudy day sunny. She had the ability to make you laugh in any situation. Taking on her role as MiMi, she gave them everything they asked for. She loved her grandkids and she let everybody know. She was honest, brave, and there was no obstacle in life that stopped her from being the best person, the best mom, a praying mom, and the best MiMi. While Angelia had her own kids, she took a lot of other kids under her wings too. She had the ability to comfort, provide, and follow up with your concerns after speaking with you. She always told you how it was without hurting your feelings and if she did, you would know it was from a place of love. She never allowed anyone to deal with things alone, because if she could help, she was going to whether you wanted her to or not. Her spirit and love will live on within us, forever.
Angelia leaves to cherish her precious memory: her mother, Mary Anderson of Monroe, LA; children, Cordarrius Anderson of Hot Springs, AR, Vonjarius Anderson of Hot Springs, AR, and Elizabeth Anderson of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Cordlund Anderson, Stormi Anderson, Kyro Hardy, and Kruz Hardy; two sisters, Aisha Jones of Monroe, LA, and Amy Shirley-Muhammad of Greensboro, NC; five brothers, James Bertrand of Monroe, LA, Osee Anderson, Jr., of Atlanta, GA, LA, Jason Anderson of Houston, TX, LA, Jean Anderson of Church Point, LA, and Hal Anderson of Los Angeles, CA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Angelia was widowed and preceded in death by Eddie Rice, Jr.; her father, Osee Anderson, Sr.; and her eldest sister, Charmaine Collins.
