Angelia Ruth Darville Robertson, 86, born on December 15, 1938, in Nassau, Bahamas, passed away peacefully at home in Ooltewah, T.N. on September 27, 2025.
Angelia began her professional journey in Manhattan, New York City, where she worked at a high-end department store as her first job. She then pursued her education at the Fletcher School of Nursing in North Carolina, where she obtained her Registered Nurse (R.N.) Angelia then moved to Charleston, SC where she worked as a nurse at MUSC, married and started a family. She made a significant impact in the medical field, serving the longest as a CICU nurse at Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C. until her retirement.
Christmas was a special time for Angelia, as she passionately dedicated the whole year to preparing for the holiday season. She was known for her thoughtful approach to giving, saving diligently in her “Christmas Account” to ensure that her friends and family received gifts that reflected her generous spirit.
Angelia is survived by her son, Kevin Robertson, and his wife, Haiyoung; daughter, Tracy Dadak, her husband, John; Daughter in law Donna Robertson and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence Darville and Angelina Cartwright Darville, her loving husband, Guy Mitchell Robertson, who passed away in 2020, and her son, Glen Mitchell Robertson, who departed in 2021.
A Memorial Service to honor Angelia will be held by family on November 1st at 3pm, located at Mount Pisgah Academy Seventh-Day Adventist Church; 21 Academy Dr. Candler, NC 28715.
