It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angelica E. Komperda, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Angelica,41, was born on July 14, 1982, in Gorlice, Poland, and departed from this world on November 30, 2023, after bravely fighting a two-year battle with cancer.
Angelica leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering strength. She was a devoted mother to Christopher and Jake Komperda, a caring sister to Edyta Niemczura (Waldemar) and Krzysztof Szwarc (Carolyn), and a cherished aunt to Jesiah, Valarie, Tristan, and Angelo. The daughter of Adam and Krystyna Szwarc, Angelica was a friend to many, touching the lives of those around her with her warmth and kindness.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents.
Angelica's beauty, zest for life, and generosity were evident in everything she did. She found joy in hosting gatherings, expressing her creativity through crafting, and sharing her thoughts and emotions through heartfelt poetry. Her ability to find beauty in the simplest moments inspired those fortunate enough to be part of her world.
Cremation was in accordance with Angelica's last wishes, we invite friends and family to join us in a memorial mass to celebrate her life. The service will take place at Saint Mary Immaculate Parish - 15629 South Route 59, Plainfield, IL on December 9th, 2023, at 10:30 AM.
May Angelica's spirit shine on in the hearts of those she touched, and may her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration during this difficult time.
