Angeline Borgnine, 96, departed life on January 14, 2025 at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard Borgnine. Angeline was born in Meriden on October 19, 1928 to the late Raymond and Albina (Vaccari) Siracusa. Angie graduated from Lyman Hall High School. In addition to raising her family she worked at Grand Union for many years. Later she supervised the housekeeping department at Choate School in Wallingford where she retired. She was an active member at Our Lady of Fatima in Wallingford and St. Peter and Paul in Wallingford. Angie and Howie retired in East Haddam where she was an active member of the St. Bridget's Ladies Guild, The Lions Club, The Bashan Lake Association, The Senior Center and The Sunset Acres Association of Bashan Lake. Angie enjoyed playing Bocce, was an avid fan of UConn Women's Basketball and loved playing cards. Angie's proudest moments were with family and friends, Sunday dinner with the family and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow and enjoy life! Angeline is survived by her son Brent and wife Kim, her daughter Bonnie and husband Michael; 7 grandchildren, Robert (predeceased), Thomas (Adrienne), Maria (Bob), Michael, Matthew, Brien (Megan), Jason (Alexa), Shannon and Zachary as well as 5 great-grandchildren: Rosetta, Angelia, Bryce, Crew, and Grayden. The family will receive visitors on Monday, January 27th at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., Wallingford from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. when the cortege will depart for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at St. Peter and Paul Church at 11:00 a.m., 127 N Orchard Street. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angeline's name to either Masters Manna (www.mastersmanna.org) or St Jude Children's Hospital (www.stjude.org).
