Angeline Ciszewski Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Nelsons Cremation & Funeral Services - Gaylord on Nov. 2, 2024.
Angeline Regina Ciszewski, aged 91, passed away peacefully of natural causes on November 1, 2024. Angie was born on January 11, 1933, the daughter of the late Anthony "Tony" and Martha (nee: Tulish) Pomarzynski.
Angie was the loving wife of the late Carl T. Ciszewski, and together they shared a life full of joy and warmth. She was a devoted mother to Suzanne Ciszewski (Brian McGuinness), Steven Ciszewski (Jane VanGamper), Nancy (Phil) Sawicki, Robert Ciszewski, and the late Alan Ciszewski. Her role as a cherished grandmother to Richelle (Chris) McKay, Danielle (S. Glen) Higley, Chelsea (Nick) Dale, Taylor (Miranda) Ciszewski, Kevin Nawrot (Michael Upton), and Sean (Lindsey) Ciszewski brought her immense happiness. She was also a doting great-grandmother to Addyson, Klarissa, Bleiler, Mikaela, Parker, Miles, and Hudson, who will miss her deeply. Angie was predeceased by her parents and all her siblings, her legacy is one of love, laughter, and dedication to those she held dear.
Angie graduated from St. Mary Catholic High School in Gaylord, where she formed many lifelong friendships and developed a strong sense of community that stayed with her throughout her life. Following her schooling Angie worked for over 42 years as a Quality Inspector at Cooper-Standard Products where she not only excelled in her role but also forged a wonderful group of lady friends who supported each other both in and outside of work.
A woman of many talents and interests, Angie was an integral member of her family's Polka band, where she joyously contributed as a music maker. Her love for Polka dancing saw her frequenting festivals in Posen and Boyne City, Michigan, delighting in the rhythm and companionship. She cherished her time spent at Camp Brevort and was often found playing pinochle with her card group or planning the family's annual vacation, a tradition that brought much anticipation and happiness.
Angie's cooking and baking skills were legendary, especially her raspberry pie and her knack for canning fruits. Her recipes and treats will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to experience them. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and enjoyed the camaraderie and competition of her bowling league.
Travel was another of Angie's passions, and she explored many destinations, including Europe, Poland, and Hawaii, always eager to experience new cultures and create lasting memories. At home, she found solace in crocheting.
Angie's commitment to her faith and her community was unwavering. She was a regular presence at local church events, and her circle of friends from various walks of life was a reflection of her open heart and welcoming spirit. Her Polka companion, Mel Welsh, will fondly remember the joy and zest for life that Angie brought to every dance.
