Angelita Bustillo

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Angelita C. Bustillo (known as Angie, Hela, or Helen), who went to be with the Lord peacefully on January 30, 2025, at the age of 82. She lived a beautifully fulfilling life and was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso and Angela Cavazos; her brother, Jesse Hernandez; her sister, Anita Gomez; and her eldest son, Johnny Ray Cavazos.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise Perez, and her husband, Dago Perez; her son, Rodney Bustillo, and his wife, Cynthia Bustillo; and her daughter-in-law, Deanna Cavazos. Additionally, she leaves behind six grandchildren (Megan, Jay, Dago Jr., Jeremey, Kierra, and Daren Jett) five great-grandchildren (Austin, Ezekiel, Aria, Nova Kai, Alania), and another great-grandchild on the way (Cairo Nyx). Angie is also survived by her sisters: Carmen Cortez and Linda Bustillo of San Antonio, TX; Lupe Castillo of Lodi, CA; and Dolores Cerda of Katy, TX, along with many nieces and nephews.
Angie was always there for her family. From a young age, she took on the responsibility of helping her parents and sisters. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and will always be remembered and loved.
