Angelo A. Cilenti, age 75, of Fox Chapel, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 17, 2025. Loving husband of 52 years to Anna (Carmela) Cilenti; beloved father of Cindy (Eugene) Cresta, Angelo (Jennifer) Cilenti, Dino (Alysa) Cilenti and Jennifer (Alex) Slezak; cherished pappap of Seava, Maurena, Pellegrino, Tucker, Liana, Zander, Nico and Max; brother of the late Margherita, Lucia, Maria and Michele; son of the late Pellegrino and Assunta Cilenti. Angelo came to the United States from Italy at the age of 23 and began working in construction, later building his own construction business, that business became known as Cilenti Construction, which is still in operation today and ran by his son, Angelo, Jr. He also started the 23rd St. Storage Unit which is being operated by his son, Dino.
He loved making homemade wine and other Italian specialties with his wife, Anna. He enjoyed spending his time in his second home in Pymatuning where he enjoyed gardening and making beautiful masterpieces in his wood shop. Angelo loved spending time with his family at Sunday Dinner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Thomas M. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory Ltd., 930 Center Ave. Blawnox, PA 15238, where friends and family will gather on MONDAY at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish, St. Joseph Church at 10am.
Interment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org or to Padre Pio Foundation of America, www.padrepio.com in his memory.
