William Paul Bauer

William Paul Bauer, affectionately known as "Billy or B's", formerly of West Deer, passed away on July 19, 2025, in Lower Burrell, PA, at the age of 61.
Bill was a graduate of North Hills High School, class of 1982, then continued to Indiana University of Pennsylvania receiving a bachelor's degree. He worked as a software engineer for Bank of New York Mellon for over 30 years. After retiring, Bill owned his own computer repair business. During his lifetime, his enjoyments were photography, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, and most of all, helping others.
He is survived by his son, Daniel F. Bauer; and siblings, Cindy (Rod) Richey and Gary (Peggy) Bauer and one niece, two nephews, one great niece and five great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth A. Bauer and Ronald J. Bauer.
Funeral Mass will be held on August 1, 2025, 10 a.m. at St. Victor Church of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, 527 Bairdford Road, Bairdford, PA 15006.
Graveside service will be at 12 p.m. at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery, Northside, 204 Cemetery Ln, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 (Please meet at the cemetery, following the mass).
