Angelo A. Lizzio

Angelo A. Lizzio was born on August 17, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to Vincent P. and Madeline Lizzio. Angelo, who resided in Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on Easter Sunday morning, April 20, 2025 at the age of 85.
Loving father of Vincent (Carol) Lizzio, Lisa Lizzio, and Laura (Jeff) Miller. Dearest grandfather of Julian Lizzio, Daniel (Colleen) Lizzio, Nathan Lizzio, Emily (Tyler) Hinsley, Sam (Katelyn) Lizzio, Anthony Lizzio, Matthew Lizzio, Michael Lizzio, Ian and Noah Miller. Loving great-grandfather of Gianna and Emma. Angelo was preceded in death by his parents Vincent P. and Madeline Rovida Lizzio, and his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Marilyn Downey Lizzio.
Angelo attended Sacred Heart School, graduated from Fordson High School in 1957 and attended Henry Ford Community College. He had a remarkable career in the automotive testing industry as a Mechanical and Sales Engineer. He was a self-educated professional who mentored many top engineers in his field and traveled the world, including Europe, Australia and China.
In retirement, Angelo escaped the harsh winters of Michigan for the sunshine of his beloved Florida: enjoying RV living and making friends wherever he traveled. He was a lifetime 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and served as Deputy Grand Knight of Fr. Patrick O'Kelley council in Dearborn and District Warden in Archdiocese of Detroit.
