Our beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, Angie Marie DeVora, born May 17, 1975, in Toppenish, Washington, returned to Heaven on October 8, 2023, at the age of 48.
Angie spent most of her childhood on the farm, gardening, chasing farm animals, playing in the ditch, and her favorite, making burn piles. Angie loved everything nature. She grew up camping and fishing and loved everything about the outdoors. Although she loved this lifestyle, she also loved glitz, glamour, and fine dining. She had an eye for beauty. She could pair a wilderness survival bracelet with a stack of gold or silver, sparkling bracelets and make it look so fashionable. Her style was her style and only she could pull it off. More often than not, you probably saw her in a pair of Carhart overalls, beautiful bright red lipstick, layers of shining jewelry, and her hair piled on her head in a messy bun that (naturally) only she could pull off. Angie was radiant inside and out, and always lit up the room with her vibrant smile and contagious laughter. She truly sparkled.
Angie was a protector and advocate for those she loved and to anyone she saw in need of help. She never stood idle when she saw someone in need. She was a beacon of light in this world and was so spontaneous. She drove cross-country twice, changed tires and brakes, wearing the highest of heels, and welcomed any challenge. She was competitive in the best ways. Angie loved hard and played hard. She was always ready for adventure and always prepared for a good prank. Halloween was her favorite.
She had a love for all music, of all genres. Some of her favorite songs were, "Purple Rain" by Prince, "A Milli" by Lil Wayne, "Oh Lord, You're Beautiful" by Keith Green, and of course, "Angie" by The Rolling Stones. Angie had a passion for the arts and was creative on so many levels across so many different mediums. She had so much talent and loved to make pretty things beautiful.
Angie is preceded in death by Jaime Guzman (biological father), Bernardo and Veronica DeVora (maternal grandparents). Angie is survived by her daughter, Nayssa A. DeVora Davis (26), her mother, Virginia DeVora (Gary Fulker), her father, Oscar Rodriguez (Tina), sister, Brenda Hernandez (Gilberto), nephew, Xavier Hernandez, and bonus siblings, Kevin, Brian, Erin, and Megan Fulker, as well as extended family, (DeVora, Guzman, Rodriguez), and a plethora of friends.
Because Angie was such a lover of art and all things beautiful, we are asking in lieu of flowers, that you please make a donation to the classroom of Ms. Jasmine Austin, an amazing art teacher at Todd Middle School in Dallas, Texas. Amazon Wishlist
To know Angie is to love Angie. To have experienced her light and love was a privilege and blessing. Angie was truly Heaven sent and will be missed fiercely.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

You loved all art and always told me how amazing I was and how much you admired me and my ability to create such beautiful pieces. What I never told you was how much I admired you and your beautiful heart. I will always miss your hugs and will always miss our talks and will always miss your beautiful smile. Take care of my friend until we meet again.

Oh Angie, I hope you knew how much you were adored and appreciated. I´ve never met anyone as full of love and appreciation. When I think of you it will be with that messy bun and a huge smile from those bright red lips. Rest easy beautiful one.
