Funeral services for Angie Suzanne “Suzie” Linder, 71, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 4300 N. Market St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will be held at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent. Officiating the service will be Monsignor Rothell Price.

Suzie was born on May 11, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Joseph and Frances Maniscalco and passed away, Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Upon graduation from Woodlawn High School, she started her career in ophthalmology. She began working at Steen Hall Eye Associates and later worked for LSU Ophthalmology, where she spent many years at both. She had a special dedication to her patients and always made them feel cared for. She was known as a “Mrs. Fix-It”. She never shied away from making repairs in the home and was especially known for her electrical work. She was positive about life and brought joy to everyone’s life. She was a strong and loving woman. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and devout Catholic. To know her, was to love her. She was hard working, kind and generous. Her smile would light up a room.

She is preceded in death by her parents; aunt, Virginia Hester; uncles, Dale Hester and Tony Maniscalco; son, Brian Linder and grandchildren, Cody Linder and Taylor Linder. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Jack Linder; son, Jackie Linder, Jr. and wife, Amanda; daughter, Angie Walker; step-sons, Andy Linder and wife, Heather and Evan Linder; grandchildren, Brian Linder, Jr., Kaden Linder, Royce Linder, Trenton Walker, Wyatt Walker, Abigail Walker, Addison Walker, Amanda Sloan, Liz Linder, Andrew Linder, Adam Linder and Zachary Lowery; sisters, Frances Youngblood and husband, Revis and Sandra McLaughlin and husband, Mack; brother, Joby Maniscalco and wife, Patti and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honoring Suzie as pallbearers will be Revis Youngblood, Jr., Bo Youngblood, Brian Thornton, Mike McGowen, David Pigot and Trey Hicks.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
