After 95 fulfilling years of experiencing all that life has to offer, our treasured matriarch has gone on to take her final rest in heaven Friday, August 1, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family She was born January 15, 1930 in Aurora, IL; daughter of Wayne and Louella (Rasmussen) Denney.. Anieta spent her last days in her home, surrounded by her adoring family-filled with warmth, tears, laughter, and memories. Anieta enjoyed fishing trips with Bob, tending to her flower gardens, knitting, collecting ladybug knickknacks, attempting to keep up with the latest technology, and spending time with her cherished family-especially when her great-grandchildren brought their guitars. She was a beloved member of Oswego Presbyterian Church, where she worshiped and volunteered. It is worth repeating that she loved her family deeply-including her many dogs. Anieta spent 19 years married to her high school sweetheart, Dale John Schillinger, until his passing on September 11, 1968. She later married Robert John Chada on Valentine's Day, 1970, and spent 44 loving years by his side until his passing in January 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Marie Denney; her first husband, Dale Schillinger; her second husband, Robert Chada; her brother, William (Dorothy) Denney; and her daughter, Lynn Marie (Gary) Bastian. Anieta is survived by her daughters: Kaye (Ron) Scott and Kathy Schillinger. Her grandchildren: Jennifer Bastian; Jace, Nicholas (Emma), Heather (Brian), Taylor (Robert), Leah Bastian; Corey (Larry) Czerwinski; Alysa, Noah, Kyle (Nicole) Gabrielsen; Landyn, Kasey (Wayne & Katie) Chambers; Crew, Isabella, Clarke, James, and Charlie; Elizabeth (Tim) Scott; Grayson, Zino, Jude, Isaac, Paisley, and Miles; Cody (Caroline) Scott; Sam (Kasidi) Scott; Jameson, Levi; and many great-great-grandchildren, friends (including her new friend Lily), and extended family. Visitation will be held at Dieterle Memorial Home on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 9:00–11:00 a.m., with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Lincoln Memorial Park.
