Age 71, of Americus, Georgia, passed away on June 4, 2025 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.
Born on May 31, 1954 in Valsad, India, he had lived in Americus for the past 15 years. He was a retired resident and a member of the BAPS Temple in Perry.
He is survived by his wife, Manjulaben Patel; two sons, Patrick Patel (Rachel Patel) and Umang Patel (Priti Patel); one brother, Paresh Patel (Kiran Patel); and three grandchildren, Jaden Patel, Jania Patel, and Jihan Patel.
A visitation will be held on June 6th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel.
A Funeral service will be held at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel on June 7th at 12:00 PM.
Cremation will follow immediately after the service.
A family lunch will be served at the Quality Inn 1205 MLK Jr. Blvd. Americus, GA 31709.
