Susan Anissa "Nissy" Nance Lowe, born July 28. 1971, departed this earth for her heavenly assignment on January 2, 2024, at the young age of 52. Anissa grew up the eldest of two children of Truman and Martha Nance, in the south west corner of Randolph County. She graduated from Southwest Randolph High School and High Point University.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2023, at Hopewell Friends Meeting, with Rev. Daniel Thames officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Anissa lived her life to serve others. After her daughter, Ashley Nicole Lowe was born, Anissa dedicated her heart and soul to raising her daughter. She met the love of her life, Brad Lowe in 1994 and has spent 29 years of her life by his side. Anissa was an avid cruiser and loved being at sea relaxing with friends and family. Family was the most important thing to her and being a mom and wife was her greatest accomplishment. Anissa took pride in sharing the beauty of our country with Ashley while driving brand new school buses across the country for their delivery. Anissa was an excellent elementary teacher and poured her heart into the children that passed through her classroom. Anissa didn't want to depart this earth just yet and remained dignified, determined and loved until her passing. She was given exceptional care by Hospice of Randolph County.
Anissa was preceded in death by her father, Truman Nance whom we take comfort in knowing greeted her when she became healed in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Anissa is survived by her loving husband, Brad Lowe; daughter, Ashley Lowry (Jake); her mother, Martha Nance; brother, Jeffrey Nance (Kristy); nephew, Mason Nance; niece, Julie Nance; mother and father-in-law; Syd and Donna Lowe; brother-in-law, Jeff Lowe (Mendi); nieces, Kaytlin and Morgan; and her beloved "Lucy" the doodle.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2023, at Ridge Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203
