Cleveland Lowe Obituary

In his younger years, Cleveland was employed at a casket factory in Woodland, dedicating himself to his work until he became disabled. Despite the challenges he faced, Cleveland remained a man of great heart, always willing to help those around him with whatever he had to offer.
A man who cherished his faith, Cleveland was initially a member of the Methodist Church and later attended Grace Baptist Church alongside his beloved sister. He found joy in riding his bicycle through town, a pastime that allowed him to connect with others in the community. Known for his kindness, he never hesitated to share what he had, including feeding any cat that crossed his path, ensuring they were never hungry.
Cleveland was preceded in death by his parents, Daisy Boone Lowe and Jesse James Lowe, his sisters, Thelma Elliott, Betty Bigelow, Nellie Bryant, and Rena Broglin, and his brothers, Robert and Jesse Lowe. His memory will be cherished by his sister Margaret Brittenham of Ahoskie, NC, his brother Billy Lowe and wife Sheila of Rocky Mount, NC, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who knew and loved him dearly.
Friends are welcome to view Mr. Lowe on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service in Ahoskie, NC. A celebration of his life will be conducted with a graveside service at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Rich Square, NC, at 11:00 am on Saturday morning, November 8, 2025, officiated by his nephew Robert Barmer.
