Anita Gubernat Obituary

Anita C. Gubernat (nee Carlson) was born in Plainfield, NJ on December 7, 1945. She passed away on March 14, 2024 after a very sudden decline in her health. Anita was 78 years old.
Prior to becoming a full-time homemaker, Anita worked as a secretary in the pharmaceutical industry. Anita will be remembered for her ready smile, her home cooked meals, love for animals and her kind and giving heart.
Anita was predeceased by her father George, mother Aurelia and brother Richard.
Anita is survived by her husband Raymond, her son Daniel, his wife Melissa and their children Matthew and Emily, nieces and nephews, extended family members and loyal friends.
A viewing will be 5-8 pm Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE. Service will be 11:00 am Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the funeral home with viewing one hour earlier.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Wounded Warriors, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
