Anjo C Riddle

Jaye Riddle (Anjo Capone), 69, passed away on February 4, 2024, at home with her husband, Ron Riddle, and her family by her side. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 11, 1954, the daughter of Dr. Domenic V. A. Capone and Rose E. Capone.
Jaye attended Our Lady of Fatima High School in Warren, Rhode Island and Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts. After college, she lived in Salinas, California and then moved to the North Country and lived in Peru, Chazy, and Plattsburgh, New York. She taught young children for many years and served as an office manager for a number of local businesses. Most recently, Jaye retired from her 20-year career at Upward Bound - SUNY Plattsburgh in 2021, where she worked alongside dear friends inspiring and supporting students and families.
Jaye married her best friend, Ron Riddle, on June 15, 2002. They shared a beautiful love that was evident to all in their presence, and that they never took for granted. They cherished spending time together and with their family and friends, especially their children and grandchildren. Jaye loved her grandchildren fiercely, and they adored their "Gigi." She loved all animals, especially her cats.
Jaye lived each day with gratitude, love, kindness, resilience, and faith. Those who had the opportunity to meet her felt her joy and experienced her radiant glow. She chose forgiveness and generosity of spirit in every aspect of her life, and she lived each moment to the fullest. Jaye had the ability to see value in every experience and loved without judgment.
She was predeceased by her parents, Domenic and Rose Capone. Jaye is survived by her husband, Ron Riddle, children Donny Green (Katie), Tori Sukonnik (Joshua), Mathew Riddle (Amanda), and Seth Riddle (Diana); grandchildren Parker Sukonnik, and Mia and Lincoln Riddle; her siblings Biz Green, Sissy Green (Paul), Donna Byrnes (Edd), Matt Capone (Evelyn); her many nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Jellybean, and many cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Church at 18 Broad Street in Plattsburgh, New York. Jaye's wardrobe reflected her love of sunshine, flowers, and bright colors. Guests are invited to wear bright colors to symbolize the beautiful light that she shared with us all. A celebration of life will take place after the service in the Adirondack Room at the Butcher Block Restaurant, 15 Booth Drive in Plattsburgh, New York.
Burial will take place this summer in Bristol, Rhode Island.
