Ann M Arcieri

Daughter of Louis & Jennie Scuderi, born April 8th, 1928. Passed into the loving hands of God on July 7th, 2025. Married Charles William Arcieri October 1st, 1949.
Mother to William, Barbara, Richard, Charles, & Mark.
Grandmother to Alicia, Kenneth, Lauren, Thomas, Alyssa, Andrew, Eric, Nicholas, Matthew, Emily, and Nicole.
Great Grandmother to Eliana, Jeremiah, Adalyn, Kai, and Casey.
Mom grew up in East Elmhurst, N.Y. with her parents and her sister Gloria. She graduated from Newtown High School and went to work for NBC. One of her interests in her early adulthood was tennis. After her marriage, she and Dad moved to New Hyde Park.
Mom worked hard both as a wife and as a homemaker caring for her children, ensuring they were fed, watched over, and cared for as Dad was the provider. She tended to our wounds, sewed our clothes, and kissed our cheeks. She knitted, crocheted, and finished every crossword puzzle. Mom attended Mass every Sunday, bingo during the week, and an occasional visit to the casino. Mom enjoyed boating with Dad who loved being on the water fishing. Mom and Dad traveled to Italy, France, Israel, Alaska, and cross-country to see the beauty of the United States.
Sometimes, the pursuit of happiness is found in simplicity. No fancy cars or dinners, not the latest materialistic item...just a loving husband, loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends, and caretakers.
Simplicity...contentment...comfort...peacefulness. If happiness is measured by those words, Mom achieved the pinnacle of life and is now sharing in the glory of eternity.
