Ann Celeste Burgess, known to all as Ann, was born on the 18th of December 1936 in Victoria, TX. She was a compassionate soul, whose life was a testament to the power of love and kindness. Her thoughtful nature and inspiring character touched the lives of all who knew her. Ann lived a fulfilling life, dedicating herself to the wellbeing of her family and community in Granbury, Texas. She was a proud homemaker, whose tireless efforts, love, and warmth turned her house into a home, a haven for her loved ones.
Ann was an active member of her local Bridge Club, where she brought joy and camaraderie to all gatherings. Her achievements as a homemaker and mother were immeasurable and deeply cherished by her family. Family was the cornerstone of Ann's life, and she drew her strength and happiness from their love and support.
In her passing, Ann leaves behind her beloved children, daughter, Rhonda Wilcox and her husband Raymond Wilcox, son, Mike Burgess, and wife Pam Burgess, and son John Burgess and wife Kim Burgess who will continue to honor their mother's legacy in their own lives. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Roger Wilcox, Ann Peterson, Karl Wilcox, Kristina Burgess, and Mike Jr. Burgess and her great grandchildren, Jane Wilcox, Ethan Wilcox, Hazel Wilcox, Henry Wilcox, and Jonas and Jack Sonke. She is preceded in death by her husband Lee O. "Leo" Burgess, parents, John and Mable Comer, who molded her into the incredible woman that she was.
