Ann Bussey

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Bussey, age 70, of Temple, GA, passed away August 03, 2025. She was born May 17, 1955 in Villa Rica, GA to the late Lawrence Wilburn Chandler and Elizabeth Hicks Chandler.
Ann graduated with the Haralson County High School of 1973. She went on to work as a Paraprofessional in the Carroll County school system, where she also coached softball. She enjoyed yard sales and antiquing. She loved spending time with her family, especially when it involved cooking for and taking photos of them. Ann was an amazing "Mawmaw" and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Sam Bussey, of Temple; sons and daughters in law, Scott and Holly Miller, of New Caney, TX, Jeremy Miller, of Lagrange, GA, and Josh and Hiley Miller, of Temple; grandchildren, Caitlynn and Jerrick Gaskins, Grant Miller, Amberlee Miller, Isaac Miller, Drake Miller, Aubree Miller, Claire Miller; sister and brother in law, Patti and Tommy Layton, of Buchanan, GA; and nephew and his family, Tyler, Jannah, Carson, and Addison Layton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 3:00PM EST in the Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Rev. Mark Haney, Rev. Ronnie Perkins, and Dr. Rodney Wilburn officiating. Her grandchildren, Amberlee Miller and Grant Miller, will also share special messages. Her family will receive friends Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the funeral home beginning at 1:30PM. Aquamation services will be provided by Miller Funeral Home following the funeral service.
