Ann Charette Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stetson’s Funeral Home - Brunswick on Aug. 18, 2024.
Brunswick- Ann Marie Charette, born on September 01, 1958, in New Britain, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at her home in Brunswick on August 08, 2024. She was 65 years old.
Ann attended, and graduated from Plainville High School in 1977. She loved playing cards with her friends, going for walks, completing crossword puzzles, and spending time socializing at the gathering place. If you knew Ann, you know she never did any of these things without Diet Pepsi close by. She was always early to rise, and early to bed, and took great pride in keeping a tidy home.
In the younger years of her life, she enjoyed long-haul trucking and exploring the United States with her children and their father. This opportunity allowed her to see many cities and beautiful sunsets. At the time of her death, Ann lived in a housing community where she had made quite a few special friends who, along with her children and family, mourn her passing, and feel her absence. She is survived by her loving children, a daughter, Crystal (Casey) Theriault, and son, Gary Theriault Jr., parents, Rose and John Charette, sisters, Cecile (Richard) Cooley, Delores (Tom) Costa, Denise (Mark) Kniss, and Stella (Rich) Guzda. She also leaves behind several special aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
"Remember me in your heart:
Your thoughts, and your memories,
Of the times we loved,
The times we cried, The times we fought, The times we laughed.
For if you always think of me, I will never have gone."
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Stetson Funeral Home, 12 Federal Street, Brunswick, ME. Those who wish may make donations in Ann's memory to: Tedford Housing. P.O. Box 958, Brunswick, ME 04011. For online condolences, please visit stetsonsfuneralhome.com
