Ann Cooley, 88, passed away July 21st, 2022 in Ft. Collins, CO. Born the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Leland Edmonds of Horton, KS, she attended Horton HS and graduated from Kansas State University in 1956.
She worked at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City where she met and married Jack Cooley, from Colorado, in 1962. Ann was the mother to 3 children, the late Katie (Tom) Blaney of Jupiter, FL, John (Mary) Cooley of St. Louis, MO, and Dan Cooley, of Ft. Collins, CO. Ann enjoyed her five grandchildren Matt (Kristy) Cooley, Adam Cooley, Jeff Cooley, Ethan Cooley, and Abe Cooley
Ann and Jack lived, worked, and raised their family in Kansas City, Cincinnati, Memphis, and Huntington WV, before moving to Colorado Springs in 1984. They were residents of Colorado Springs for 35 years, and active members of First Presbyterian Church, before moving into assisted living in Fort Collins.
With her children grown, Ann embarked on a second career as an accountant working for partners Mayberry, Osborne, and Parsons in Colorado Springs for many years. Besides being highly involved in her family's life, Ann enjoyed reading, playing games, hiking, and walking with friends.
Ann will be dearly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, and the many friends that she made during her life's journey.
