Ann Elizabeth Corson

Ann E. Corson, 78, of Owego, NY passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 13, 1947, daughter of the late Gerald and Jane (Soper) Hollenbeck. Ann is predeceased by the love of her life, Bill, who she thought of daily and missed dearly. She is survived by her son Jerry and Jodi Corson, her daughter Lisa and Cliff Sherwood, sister Lynn and Don McCormick, and brother Gary and Shirley Hollenbeck; her beloved Corson grandchildren, Jasper and wife Lilly, Jessalyn, Jadyn, Justin, Jewel and husband Caleb Llewellyn; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ann grew up in Catatonk, NY and is a graduate of Candor Central High School. In addition to raising her family, Ann worked for several decades within the Tioga County community at The Brister Law Firm, Owego National Bank, and The Boys and Girls Club. Ann was a faithful Christian and an active member of the Catatonk Baptist Church and its community. Her greatest joy came from watching her grandchildren grow - always ready to be a part of any event they were involved with. In keeping with her wishes, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
