Louise A. Berube, 86, of Owego, NY passed away at home on Sunday August 3, 2025. She is survived by her husband, James Berube; her children, Jeniene Rathke, Scott and his wife Debbie Berube, Lorna Berube, Rene and her husband Ben de Bree; her six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Roberta Loughery; several nieces, nephews and their families.
Louise was born in Newark, NJ on July 25, 1939, the daughter of Kenneth and Kathleen Loughery. She and her husband were avid motorcyclists, and loved cruising the open roads. She was also a fan of NASCAR. Louise especially loved her family and family gatherings were truly some of her most happy times.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Richards Funeral Home, Rte. 17c West, Owego, NY on Friday August 8, 2025 from 10:00am until 11:00am. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am with Anthony Nicolosi of St. Patrick's Church officiating, followed by committal at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Those wishing may consider a memorial contribution in memory of Louise to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org, Please share your memories at www.RichardsFH.com
