John T. Berube Jr. November 13, 1960–July 7, 2025
John T. Berube Jr., 64, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on July 7, 2025. Born in Beverly, Massachusetts, on November 13, 1960, John was a loving father, a skilled tradesman, and a man remembered for his unique character and sharp sense of humor. A graduate of Beverly High School, John began his working life as a lobsterman off the Massachusetts coast, a reflection of his deep connection to the ocean and his hardworking spirit. He later joined the Local 3 Bricklayers' Union in Boston, where he honed his skills in masonry. Eventually, he established his own construction company, specializing in waterproofing and stone masonry. His craftsmanship, work ethic, and pride in a job well done earned him the respect of clients and colleagues alike. John is survived by his beloved children, Deborah Berube, Dianah Berube, and Anthony Berube, as well as his sisters, Cheryl Sawchuk, Eleanor Mack, and Michele Berube. He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. Berube Sr. and Lena Berube, whose memory he carried with him always. John's legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the family he loved, the music he sang and shared, and the work he built with his own hands. His sense of humor, resilience, and one-of-a- kind personality will be remembered always.
