We are deeply heartbroken to announce the passing of Mark Griffith of New Port Richey, Fl at the age of 65 on October 5, 2025. Mark was born in 1960 in Gary, Indiana and was raised in Griffith, Indiana where he graduated Class of 1978 Griffith High School until he moved to Florida in 1988. Mark is survived by his loving Wife, Tiffany Griffith of 28 years and children, Rachel (Freddie) Dipietro, Son Mark Griffith Jr (Jackie) all from New Port Richey, Fl. 5 Grandchildren, Leila, Bella, Grayson, Lukas and Evie. He is also survive by Sister Kathleen Myers of Hammond, In, and brother Walter(Suzanne) Griffith Jr of Port Richey, Fl and many nephews and cousins and friends who loved him like family.
Mark is preceded in death by his mother and father, Walter and Phyllis Griffith, Sister Pamela Montano, Brother in laws Jimmy Myers and Roger Montano, Nephews Eric Griffith and Kevin J Hardy Jr.
Mark had a wide range of careers and held many certifications ranging from electronics, construction, technology and locksmithing, He worked at places such as Amoco Oil Refinery-Whiting Indiana, USS-Gary Works, Aeromet Industries-Griffith; Smith-Victor-Griffith, and then it was HR Studios, Chicago, IL. until he moved to New Port Richey, Florida where he worked at TCI cable and Gulf Coast Electronics until he opened his own Storefront A-Pro Electronics before retiring early. Mark had a wide range of hobbies and unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He was often spending his spare time researching topics of interest from music, computers, electronics and video games. He also studied and experimented within the Renewable Energy Community under the psuedoname "Imhotep", creating the Imhotep Radiant Oscillator Circuit. However his highest priority was always his family. Mark will be eternally missed by all who loved him.
Mark's thirst for knowledge included all sciences and his final contribution to the world is donating his tissue to the United Tissue Fund in order to help further research the rare type of cancer he had so others may possibly be saved in the future.
