Ann Marie Cramer, 88, of Roseland, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024. Born in Orange, NJ, as a first generation of Irish immigrants. Ann grew up in West Orange and later married the love of her life, Winfield Cramer. Together, they built a life, starting in Bloomfield before purchasing their first home in West Orange and eventually settling in Roseland in 1969.
A graduate of Immaculata High School, Ann began her career at Prudential in the secretarial pool. After starting her family, she transitioned to homemaking, raising her children with love and dedication. Ann returned to the workforce later in life, serving as a secretary at Prudential Insurance in Roseland and as a library assistant at the Roseland Free Public Library before retiring at the age of 75.
Ann was an active member of the Roseland community, a proud participant in the Roseland Townset, and a member of the choir and Rosary Society at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church. She had a passion for reading, often devouring multiple books per week, and she loved traveling the world, always seeking new adventures or enjoying beach vacations with family and friends.
Ann was predeceased by parents Mary and Bernard Goodwin, and her brother, Bernard Goodwin. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Winfield Cramer; devoted children, Karen Narlis (Nicholas), Edward Cramer (Catherine), and Christine Cramer; and loving grandchildren, Kaitlin (Tim), Jessica (Colin), Connor, Ryan and sister-in law Mary Goodwin, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will all miss her dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
Ann's memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
