Ann "Snooks" Davidson born February 2, 1935 departed this life on Saturday February 22, 2025 at her residence in Hazard, Kentucky being 90-years old. Ann was born in Bonnyman, Kentucky the daughter of the late James Baker and the late Dallie Fields Baker. Other than her parents, Ann was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Davidson; son, Gene Davidson; siblings, Geneva Begley, George Baker, Billy Baker, Jack Baker, Nora Fields. Ann was a life member of the Hazard-Perry County D.A.V., V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary & Eastern Star, Second Creek Church of God. Snooks also volunteered 23-years at the East Kentucky Veterans Center, and volunteered with many events in her community throughout the years.
Ann "Snooks" Davidson leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: siblings, Carl Baker & Miller of Floral City, FL, Donnie Baker of Hazard, Dr. Edith Baker & Sherry of Richmond, KY, and Douglas Baker & Gail of Combs, KY; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends survive.
Funeral Services for Ann "Snooks" Davidson will be conducted on Tuesday February 25, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Merill David Collins officiating. The Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery located at Jeff, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11:00 – 12:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators at 101 Dennis Sandlin MD Cove – Hazard, Kentucky 41701.
