Harold Donald Sumner born March 15, 1950 departed this life peacefully on Wednesday – October 1, 2025 at his residence in Chavies, Kentucky being 75-years old. Harold was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Leonard Sumner and the late Ethel Stallard Sumner. Other than his parents, Harold was also preceded in death by three brothers, Dewey Sumner, Ricky Sumner, and Charles Sumner; two sisters, Juanita Sturgill and Evalee Blair. Harold was a painter by occupation, he painted houses and did paint work for 32-years. Harold enjoyed hunting & fishing, he loved everyone and was a friend to all.

Harold Donald Sumner leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife of 31-years, Faye Turner-Sumner of Chavies, KY; children, Steven Sumner & Jennifer of Viper, DeRhonda Owens of Corbin, Jennifer Adams & Jerry of Leatherwood, Heather Sumner of Somerset, Dewey Turner of Hazard and Junior Turner of Louisville, KY; two brothers, Randall Sumner & Sharon Hatfield and Burkie Sumner & Irene both of Viper, KY; four sisters, Burnett Matthews & David of Panama City, FL, Wilma Daniels & Steven of Panama City, FL, Lola Stoner of Dayton, OH and Rena Barker of Richmond, IN; also a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives & friends survive.

Private Services will be held for Harold Donald Sumner.
