Ann M Devaney

Ann M Devaney 88 of Manchester died Saturday January 27, 2024, at home with family. Born in New York City, she resided in East Brunswick for 30 years before moving to Manchester 24 years ago. She worked for the East Brunswick Board of Education in the High School for over 12 years before retiring in 1995. A devoted catholic and to St Theresa the Little Flower, she was a member of St John's Church, Lakehurst. She enjoyed wintering in Vero Beach, FL, reading Tana French & Janet Evanovich novels and watching her favorite actor, Glenn Ford. She was a role model to her family and all who knew her; she was kind, compassionate and loving as well as a confidante when needed. She is predeceased by her son, Michael Devaney in 1982 and her husband Joseph P Devaney in 2010. Surviving are her children, Joseph J & his wife Julie, Thomas F & his husband Neil Cerbone, James P & his wife Jeananne and daughter, Joanne Devaney Lepis, sister-in-law, Ann Cassidy, 11 grandchildren, Eddie, Jack, Jake, Elise, Joe, Grace, Ryan, Cassidy, Carla Ann, Michael and Carl and 4 great grandchildren, Joe, Bella, Marcus & Travis. Visitation is Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Wednesday 10 AM at St John's Church, Lakehurst with entombment to follow at St Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
