Leominster-Ann M. (Constantino) Dziokonski, 77, passed peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at UMass Medical Center-University Campus, surrounded by family. She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Dziokonski & partner Scott Oliphant; and Krista Robichaud & wife Britt Casasanta; her beloved granddaughter Chloe Robichaud; siblings and their spouses, Mary Beth Bonin & Edward; William Constantino & Carol; and Paul Constantino & Michelle; her former husband Dr. Walter Dziokonski; generations of nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.
Daughter of the late William & Agnes (Conlon) Constantino, Ann was born, raised, and educated in Clinton. She attended Clinton High School, graduated from the Notre Dame High School, Class of 1966, and Worcester State College. A career educator, Mrs. Dziokonski started her career in New Hampshire then Ohio before returning to her home state to start and raise her family. There she taught English and Reading in the Clinton Public School System for nearly thirty years and proudly served as the President of the Clinton Teachers Association.
A woman of great faith, Ann was a devout parishioner of St. John the Guardian of our Lady Parish in Clinton, where she served in many capacities, notably as the long time Religious Education Coordinator, CCD teacher, Eucharistic Minister, and member of both the Women of Mary and Hibernians of Our Lady of Knock. Given her own various health struggles over the years, Ann took particular pride in her role delivering communion and visiting with those in the community that were unable to attend church.
Ann loved the beach and was happiest when she could just sit and listen to the waves. Her fondest memories were childhood family trips to Marshfield and later Rhode Island with her own family. She had an active social life and relished time spent with friends over long phone calls, frequent visits, and weekend getaways to the Cape.
Among Ann's greatest qualities, she was blessed with a brilliant mind and compassionate heart. She was undeniably selfless, articulate, generous, strong-willed, always optimistic, and faithful. She kept a keen eye and ear on current events and was often the first to learn of goings-on. Above all, family, faith, and friends were Ann's world. She loved and lived for her daughters, sister, brothers, nieces, and nephews, and was most proud in her role as Mom and Nana. Ann also treasured her circle of friends whose enduring presence she considered an extension of her family.
Calling hours will be held from 4 until 7PM on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Friday, August 22, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster.
