Ann Marie Hallahan, 55, of Dubuque, died Sunday, October 26, 2025, at her home in Dubuque.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be at Linwood Cemetery at a later date.
Ann was born October 15, 1970, in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Joseph G. and Jeannette (Stumpf) Hallahan.
Ann Graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1989. During her time in high school, Ann worked for Rite Hite in which she worked for 8 years. She later worked for Albrecht Acres, Cottingham & Butler for 21 years, and most recently, iSolved, a position she truly enjoyed.
While in high school, Ann won a state competition in accounting, which took her on a trip to Dallas, Texas, for the national competition. She was also a skilled euchre player and enjoyed playing in a league with her mom and grandma. Family was at the center of Ann's life, she loved coon hunting with her dad and Uncle Donnie and especially cherished her role as a grandma. She was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren.
Survivors include her three children, Brendan Hallahan, Brianna (Lashawn) Melvin, and Zachary Robert Oneal (Katelyn) Hallahan all of Dubuque; five grandchildren, A'Laiyah, Amelia, Stella, Lux, and Joseph; her parents, Joseph & Jeannette Hallahan of Dubuque; one brother, Robert (Karen) Hallahan; aunts and uncles, Linda (Donnie) Rauen, Larry (Becky) Stumpf, Bill Stumpf, Rick (Lori) Stumpf, and Mark Frick; and nieces and nephew, Ashley, Josh, and Allie.
Ann was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joseph & Jane Hallahan; maternal grandparents, Dorothy & Robert Stumpf, and a very special aunt, Barbara Frick.
