Ann "Beeka" Hansen (nee Schliesleder) beloved wife of Gary Hansen, passed away peacefully at the age of 81, on January 14th, 2026, surrounded by many who loved her dearly.
Born March 29th, 1944
Ann was the loving mother of Linda Paikowski (Tom) and David Webster. She was a devoted grandmother to Benjamin, Andrew (Lindsey), Cassidy (Tunisha), Austin (Maria), Kyle, and Morgan, and a cherished great-grandmother to Blake TJ Paikowski. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild were her greatest joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John (Jack) and Catherine Schliesleder. Survived by her siblings John (Lynnea), James (Betsy), and Lois (Leonard), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Ann will be deeply missed for her spirit, honesty, generosity, and her unconditional love for her family. Before a devastating stroke and Parkinson’s took hold, she lovingly made Christmas stockings for every new member of the family—a beautiful tradition started by her mother that Ann embraced with pride and joy.
She loved quilting and sewing, and she especially enjoyed going to the sprint car races with her husband, Gary. Ann cherished spending time with her family, particularly trips up north riding and driving UTVs—getting dirty, laughing, and making lasting memories together.
Ann also had a lifelong love of camping. During her children’s early years, the family spent nearly every weekend at local parks, experiences that became the foundation of many treasured family memories. She was a woman of great passion, with a heart expansive enough to welcome and love everyone she met.
Private services will be held.
